EFFECT OF ORGANIC SUBSTANCE IN THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENTS OF PLANTS

The presence of organic acid of low molecular weight in the soil is observed that they promote plant growth, poor growth occurred in soils in a circumstance where these compound where absent or less inadequately available.

Water soluble humic substance from farmyard manure and from rotten leaves has a positive effect on the growth and development of the plant and on a certain biological processes-nitrification and the nitrogen assimilation, the effect of these substances increases as the decomposition of organic matter increased.

The farmyard manure application increased the germination capacity and also the vitamins content of the plants; animal given fodder from field such as these shows a higher resistance to diseases. These phenomena were directly connected with the presence in the farmyard manure of certain organic compounds of the vitamin type that are presence.

The nature of the positive effect of growth promoting substances on the plants result from their actions colloidal chemical properties of the protoplasm and on the increased uptake of water and nutrient into the parts of plants enriched with growth promoting substance. However, the application of substances for stimulating plant growth is a well recognized part of agricultural practice.
