MODE OF INTER-INSTITUTIONAL COMMUNICATION


The need to bridge the communication between various institutions at different levels of decision-making and operations can never be forgotten. In practical sense, there are different breakdowns in the communicational process. The extension officer has a duty to carry out in desiring to coordinate and integrate his actions with those of officers of other institutions in the area of operation. The main purposes and aims of inter-institutional communication are to know the organizational policies and objectives of other organizations and to their agents to know those who own the institutions, to trade information and experience, to coordinate actions in the different areas of work and to strengthen the will for cooperation and uniformity.
