Primary tillage implements


The primary tillage implements are those implements which are used to perform the initial major soil work operations. These soil implements are so designed in a way to manipulate soil deeper and are rugged enough to reduce the soil strength without premature failure. The common examples of primary tillage implements are;
  • Disc plough
  • Chisel plough
  • Mouldboard plough
  • Subsoiler
